Pixel Debate is owned and operated by Inibus FZE, a company incorporated in the Umm al Quwain Free Zone, United Arab Emirates (“Inibus,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using any part of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept every provision, you must refrain from using the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age—or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher—to use the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you satisfy this requirement.
2. Amendment of Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where practicable, notified by e-mail. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Account Registration and Accuracy of Information
Certain features (e-mail subscriptions, event registration, casting applications) require you to submit information. You agree to provide true, current, and complete information and to keep it accurate. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account or in your name.
4. Intellectual-Property Rights
4.1 Pixel Debate Content
All site design, text, graphics, video, audio, and other material produced by or for Inibus (“Pixel Debate Content”) are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly permitted in writing by Inibus, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, perform, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any Pixel Debate Content.
4.2 User Content
Any text, images, audio, video, or other materials you submit or upload (“User Content”) remain yours; however, by submitting User Content you grant Inibus a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display that User Content in any media for the purpose of operating, promoting, or improving the Services. You warrant that you hold all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights.
4.3 Event Recordings
Pixel Debate events may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you acknowledge that your likeness may appear in such recordings and you consent to Inibus’s use of those recordings for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without compensation, unless you have opted out in writing pursuant to any model-release procedure provided at registration.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
1. use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
2. post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
3. infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, or other proprietary right
4. introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
5. attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Services or to other accounts
6. interfere with or disrupt the Services or the servers or networks that host them
7. impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
We reserve the right, but do not undertake the obligation, to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites or platforms (including Mailchimp, Airtable, and Eventbrite). We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of such third parties. Your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.
7. Disclaimers
1. No Warranty. The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind—express, implied, or statutory—including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
2. Accuracy. While we strive for accuracy, we make no representation that any Pixel Debate Content is complete, accurate, or current.
3. No Advice. Content provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, or other advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inibus, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, our aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED 100). Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Inibus, its officers, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your User Content; or (c) your breach of these Terms.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to any or all of the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms shall cease.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). You and Inibus FZE irrevocably agree that the courts of the DIFC have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services (including any non-contractual obligations).
12. Miscellaneous
1. Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Inibus regarding the Services.
2. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
3. No Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
4. Assignment. You may not assign any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
